Founded in 2015, L'Alchimie des Matières is a family-owned company driven by a passion for craftsmanship. Specializing in Granito-Terrazzo, the company is built on core values of authenticity, commitment, and innovation. Collaborating with Natura Mater, they produce Recuperrazzo, a circular terrazzo that transforms site waste into bespoke granito flooring.

Led by Hugues and his team, L'Alchimie des Matières combines traditional expertise with modern techniques to deliver unique, eco-friendly flooring solutions that reflect both heritage and forward-thinking sustainability.

Recuperazzo is an improvement on standard terrazzo and avoids the use of new and non-local raw materials.

Recuperrazzo

Recuperrazzo is a poured floor, manufactured on site using construction site waste or local waste streams, such as brick or glass. Craftsmen crush the waste and mix it with a mineral base and a binder to obtain a molasses to pour onto a screed. A tailor-made sample is created for each site.
